CYO Spring Sports Registration is Open

SPRING SPORTS REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

Registration is now open for High School Coed Volleyball, Baseball, Lacrosse, Track and Field, and PeeWee Track.
Register through the CYO website at www.SCJNSaints.org.

Practices for these sports will begin either the week of March 3rd or 10th. Coaches will start communicating with families as soon as we determine the schedules.

High School Coed Volleyball
No volleyball experience needed. Must be a member of St. John Neumann or St. Colman parishes or a former student at SCJN. Games are typically held on Sunday evenings and weekday nights at SCJN and neighboring parishes. Please register as soon as possible because we anticipate having two teams this year.

Baseball
Boys enrolled in 5th - 8th grades at SCJN or are parishioners of St. John Neumann and St. Colman parishes are invited to play. Games and practices are held after school during the weekdays. We anticipate large numbers of boys so please register early so we can determine teams.

Lacrosse
Saints' Lacrosse is for girls in 5th - 8th grades who attend SCJN. Because Lacrosse is not a CYO sport, all girls must be a member of USA Lacrosse in order to participate. Please register or renew a membership at www.USALacrosse.com before registering. Practices and games are typically held during the week after school at SCJN or neighboring schools. Players of all abilities are welcome.

Track and Field
Track and Field is determined by age, not grade. To be eligible, the student must be a member of either St. John Neumann or St. Colman parishes or a student at SCJN school. All students born before December 31, 2015 are eligible to compete in the Novice, Minor, and Cadet divisions. Meets are typically held on Sunday afternoons, but there might be weekends when the meet will be on a Saturday. Practices are typically held on Tuesday through Friday afternoon and evenings at either SCJN or a neighboring track. There is a place for everyone on SCJN's Track and Field Team. We need sprinters, distance runners, jumpers, and throwers.

Pee Wee Track
Any student born from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2019 is eligible for Pee Wee Track. Pee Wees do not practice but only compete in the weekend meets. The Pee Wee events are held first at the meets so families are welcome to leave after their Pee Wee has run. Pee Wees usually compete in the 100 meter and 200 meter dash.
NOTE: If your son or daughter is in 3rd grade and is still a PeeWee, he or she can attend track and field practices during the week. This exception is for 3rd graders only.
