SCJN Track and Field - A Year of Champions!

Our SCJN Girls' Track and Field Team had a spectacular 2024 season.  They were crowned the Orange Region Champions, winning a Region Championship for the fourth year in a row.  They finished second in the Area Championships at Cardinal O'Hara on May 18th and then capped off an incredible season by finishing in second place in the Archdiocesan Championships, losing by only 5.5 points to St. Mary Magdalene.  

Individually, the girls also had a spectacular day at Franklin Field at the Archdiocesan Championships.  Congratulations to Vivi Tornatela who won both the 1600 meter and 800 meter races.  Our Cadet Girls 4x200 meter relay team were also crowned Archdiocesan Champions.  The relay team of Emily Adamczyk, Liz Matthews, Lily Sheehan, and Emma Kearney capped off their final year at SCJN with a resounding win.  Congratulations to Coach Rufo and the entire Track and Field Team.
